Great performance from the ‘baby’ of the
bunch who has been eating up the South Pacific
swell at an average of 23.7 knots over the past
hour. Warta-Polpharma, formerly Jet services V,
formerly Commodore Explorer topped the
performance tables aided by 15 knots of
southwest wind. At the head of the fleet Club
Med is still clocking up the miles in the
easterly winds, making good progress towards the
final goal at 16.8 knots over the past hour and
394 miles covered in the 24-hour period. These
conditions are set to last for at least two days,
possibly more, getting Club Med to the equator
within three days.

Legato will stop in Wellington Tony Bullimore and his
crew have decided to stop over in New Zealand,
where three members of the crew will receive
medical treatment.
